Trek with Endangered Mountain Gorillas

Rwanda is one of only three places in the world where you can trek with endangered mountain gorillas. A game drive in Akagera National Park will allow you see various wildlife found in the park. At Volcanoes National Park you will do gorilla trekking. You will also do Chimpanzee trecking and canopy walk in Nyungwe National Park which is home to over 13 primate’s species.

Akagera National Park

Plenty of the big mammals here; Elephants, Giraffes, Buffaloes, Rhinos, Lions, leopards and several Antelopes species. The park is also home to over 500 bird species.

Nyungwe National Park

Nyungwe National Park is a great site for Chimpanzee Trekking and Canopy Walks. During the trekking, you might spot primates like the Colobus Monkeys as well as birds and butterflies.

Volcanoes National Park

At Volcanoes National Park, you will identify the Gorilla family to visit and proceed to spend 1 hour with the Gorillas – sometimes moving around to stay with the gorillas or following them.
